Raiders VS Vikings. Week 14 brings the Minnesota Vikings to Las Vegas, where both teams are looking to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. Minnesota is currently in a playoff spot, but is tied with four teams at 6-6. Meanwhile, the Raiders are coming off a bye week and are two games behind the last playoff spot in the AFC. The Raiders have lost their last 2 games after winning the first two against the Jets and Giants under the new AP era. The Vikings have lost their last two games after a five-game winning streak.

The Raiders have been in both games that they lost to the Dolphins and the Chiefs, in both games they had a chance to win. The defense has been a big reason they are staying in games producing consistent performances. An area on defense Patrick Graham will hope will improve in this game is turnovers, the Raiders are one of the worst takeaway teams in the league, BUT the Vikings have turned the ball over more than any team in football (24 times). So let’s hope this Raider defense can pounce on these opportunities, this is a very winnable game.
On the offensive side of the ball we have been getting the ball to Devonte Adams more with a relationship starting to build with AOC. Expect more of the same against the Vikings. JJ has played his best football over the past four games under AP, as he has rushed for 363 yards over those games.
Taking a look now at the Vikings all I am hearing is Justin Jefferson will play after missing seven games with a hamstring injury. That is massive for the Vikings, expect them to use Jefferson from the get go. The fairy-tale story took a bit of a hit with those 4 picks he threw but all in all Joshua Dobbs has been a great story for the Vikings. In the last 2 games he has had five interceptions, three fumbles and only two touchdown passes. Expect more of the same in this game, I do think Dobbs will settle and start passing the ball around well but he is prone for mistakes and the raiders need to pounce on them.
